Prospective Students

Undergraduate Students

We invite motivated undergraduate students to contact us regarding getting involved at the VOCES Research Collective as an undergraduate research assistant (RA). RAs at VOCES have the opportunity to provide support for ongoing research projects at the collective by performing tasks including conducting literature reviews, collecting qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., interviews, surveys, biological/psychological measures, etc.), conducting data analysis (e.g., qualitative coding), and creating public/community-facing media (e.g., infographics). RAs are paired with a Ph.D. student whom they will work closely with during their time at the collective.

This is a volunteer research position with opportunities for involvement in presentations and publications for students with exceptional commitment and performance.

Our research collective offers both volunteer and research for credit (e.g., PSYC 485) opportunities for Rice University undergraduates as well as volunteer opportunities for highly motivated high school students.
