What is VOCES?
VOCES is a research collective that is dedicated to promoting health and social prosperity in our community. As a part of Rice University’s department of Psychological Sciences, our mission is to conduct health research, inform policy, and undertake intervention and advocacy efforts that promote healthier communities.

Our interdisciplinary team of researchers, students and community partners work together to identify the root cause of health disparities and develop solutions to reduce them. Our work spans a range of health issues including chronic illness and mental health.
